Well, if you’ve already stayed at Garden by the Sea bed and breakfast or any hotel on St. John pre-Irmaria, you know what fun The Beach Bar in Cruz Bay was. Unfortunately, it sustained pretty heavy damage from the storms and a major rebuild was in order! Guess what!? All the cement is poured and is almost done curing…that means they’re gearing up for a great season! Some things may change, but the owners have personally told me that the plan is to keep The Beach Bar true to its roots as a dive beach bar…and I personally cannot wait!

Great food, cold drinks, fun bartenders, and live music right on the beach: What’s not to like?! And just in case you were wondering how far Garden by the Sea is from The Beach Bar, it’s 840 steps from our front door…yes, we tracked it! So make your reservations and come see it for yourself!
