One of the many reasons we loved Garden by the sea was because the house had 70 solar panels . But to be honest, they never worked properly from day one. They did offset some power use but not nearly what they should. So, for 4 years we’ve been working to get them up and running at 100% so we can then get BATTERY BACKUP And get off the grid! Just imagine how wonderful life would be if you NEVER had to worry about loosing power!? I know, I know…. poor baby, island problems… but they’re real! We have had all of the micro-inverters changed and upgraded which then revealed which panels weren’t producing At all. So we now have new panels on their way. These panels are the newest technology and will out produce the still functioning old ones by 3x’s, that’s a lot of power! Once these are installed and everything is working properly we intend on purchasing the batteries,…this is VERY exciting news! So stay tuned…
